How It All Started The birth of Plastika Rebirth
Plastika Rebirth was born in March 2025, during the Change Makers program.
Faced with the growing plastic pollution in Bamako, we felt the urge to act — not just talk.From a simple idea to transform waste into something beautiful, we found purpose, power, and people ready to make a difference.
The Wix Challenge gave us the platform to turn that idea into a movement.
Why We Acted
Every day, we saw plastic bottles, sachets, and bags piling up in our streets, schools and neighborhoods.
It became normal — until we decided it shouldn’t be.Through Plastika Rebirth, we chose to transform frustration into action, and turn what pollutes into what inspires.
